Transmission lines
The interconnecting cable between the transceiver and the antenna that is referred to as the transmission line or feeder cable. Essentially, the role of the feeder cable is to convey RF power between the transceiver and the antenna for both the transmit and receive modes of operation. Therefore, as a part of this power-transfer role, the efficiency of the feeder cable is essential to the overall operation of the system.
